Turboline and PAC forms a Joint Venture in India

Turboline’s Board of Directors and Prim Auto Components Board of Directors agreed to forming a Joint Venture company in India called PAC-Turboline. This is formed as a 51:49 venture between Turboline Engineering Private Limited, India and PAC India. The current sheet metal fabrication facility in Porur, Chennai (South India) is planned to be expanded to 40,000 SF to accommodate state of the art manufacturing and mechanical seal manufacturing. This will include Omax Water Jet Cutting Machines, VMCs and CNC Lathes. Commenting on this JV, Kris Iyer, Chairman of PAC mentioned that the new infrastructure will enable us expand into Aerospace sector. Kris commented that this will be first of its kind infrastructure in South India.

Turboline had a great show at AmCon in Orlando, FL

Turboline exhibited at the AmCon (American Contract Manufacturing Show) in Orlando on March 3rd and 4th of 2009. At the show, Turboline featured a new range of its G2L2 range of LED products and services. More information on this at g2l2.com. Also, Turboline featured its Contract Manufacturing services and Mechanical Seals. Turboline was the only company in the show that featured Asia based manufacturing operations. Bruce Roberts and Roger Raman managed the show participation at Orlando.

Bruce Roberts signs up for Sales in FL, GA, AL and NC.

Turboline is pleased to announce that Mr. Bruce Roberts has signed up to lead the Sales of Turboline’s Products and Services in the South Eastern region including Florida, Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina states. Roberts comes with over 38 years of Product Engineering and Global Launch experience with global corporations like Oerlikon and Novellus. Roberts is based in Tampa, Florida region. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.

38-Year Manufacturing Veteran, Mr. N. Nagaraj joins India Team

“Mr. Nagaraj is a highly accomplished professional and he is an asset to Turboline’s India execution strategy” said Dr. Kumar Sambandan, President & CEO of Turboline. Mr. Nagaraj will be leading all operations of Turboline in India including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Project Coordination and Product Delivery. Nagaraj is a Mechanical Engineer with 38 years of manufacturing and production experience with companies like Tata Motors. His experience includes technical education in Germany and  proficiency in German language.
